Throughout the year, we release a variety of collectible designs — from playful objects to nature-inspired miniatures — each thoughtfully made to add a bit of quirky fun to your pram, bag, keys, or travel accessories.

Choose your favourite charm and we will make it to order just for you.

Each piece is precision cut, then hand-painted, hand-stitched, and carefully assembled in Cape Town by skilled artisans. No two charms are exactly the same, making each one a small, distinctive work of craft.

You can select between two attachment options:
• A durable swivel hook for easy clipping
• An upcycled leather strap made from repurposed leather offcuts

Please note that leather colours may vary depending on availability, as we prioritise upcycling and reducing waste.

Materials

Faux felt (polyfelt), M20 CF polyester thread, virgin polyester stuffing, and reclaimed leather (where selected).

Care Instructions

Spot clean gently with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging in water to preserve painted and stitched details.

Product specifications

Each bag accessory features a hand-stitched object, securely attached to a durable spring clip, designed for easy fastening to handbags, backpacks, or keyrings.

Shipping and returns

Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Nehanda Design, each item is lovingly made to order. We aim to deliver your handcrafted product safely and efficiently, whether you're local or ordering from abroad.

South African Orders

  • for all orders over R999.
  • flat-rate shipping fee of R95 applies to local orders under R999.
  • 2–3 working days within South Africa.

International Orders

  • Shipping costs for international orders are calculated at checkout and vary depending on your destination and chosen shipping method.
  • 1–2 weeks for international delivery after your order has been shipped.

Taxes & Duties

  • (where applicable) are the responsibility of the recipient and will be calculated upon logging your shipment with the courier.
  • If you are purchasing a gift and would like us to invoice you for duties and taxes separately, please email us before or after checkout and we’ll be happy to assist.

Production Time

As all our products are made to order, please allow 7–14 working days for processing and manufacturing before dispatch.

Once your parcel is on its way, we will send you a tracking number so you can follow its journey from our Cape Town studio to your door.

Returns & Repairs Policy

At Nehanda Design, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Each item is carefully made to order with love and attention to detail. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Returns

If you change your mind or are not completely satisfied with your order, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your product at info@nehandadesign.co.za. We kindly ask that the item be returned unused, undamaged, and in its original condition. Once the returned item is assessed and confirmed to be in good condition, we will issue a full credit for the purchase amount.

Please note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product arrived damaged or defective.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged due to transit or has a manufacturing fault, please notify us within 14 days of delivery. We will gladly repair or replace the item at no additional cost to you.

Repairs After 14 Days

If your product requires repair after the 14-day period, we are still happy to assist. A service fee may apply, which will be quoted based on the nature of the repair and time required.
