Refund policy

At Nehanda Design, our pieces are handcrafted with intention to be both beautiful and long-lasting. While we strive for a robust and sturdy finish, the nature of handmade products means occasional issues can occur. If your item arrives with any breakage, damage, or something significantly wrong, we're here to help.

Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind or are not completely satisfied with your order, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your product at info@nehandadesign.co.za.

Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original condition. Once the returned item has been assessed and confirmed to be in acceptable condition, we will issue a refund or credit for the purchase amount.

Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect, please notify us as soon as possible.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, customers may return defective goods within six months of delivery. Where a defect is confirmed, customers may choose between a repair, replacement, or refund as provided for under the CPA.

Repairs After Six Months

Should your product require repair after the six-month statutory warranty period, we are still happy to assist where possible. A repair fee may apply and will be quoted based on the nature of the repair and time required.

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the item (where applicable)

We'll guide you through the next steps and work with you to find the most appropriate solution.
