While our materials are not always locally produced due to limitations in availability and cost, we do our best to support local economies by keeping production in South Africa. From working with South African suppliers like ACA Threads, to sourcing labour through women-led partnerships and organisations like Taking Care of Business and RISE 5, we’re committed to building a network that is proudly homegrown.
We also keep our production small and intentional. Every mobile is made to order, allowing us to avoid overproduction and maintain a high level of quality and care.
And we’re transparent about the challenges. Finding the right materials, ones that are safe, affordable, and beautiful is not always easy, but we continue to evolve and grow.
